Living Monolith needs to offer both versions

Why is there no option for the old (3.5) edition of Living Monolith (from the Osirion player companion) even though I own the data package for that book? I have a character that was created before People of the Sands was released and used the old version of Living Monolith but I can't find that option anywhere; I only see the new (PF) version from People of the Sands. They are significantly different, the most extreme difference being the old version had a straight BAB. If I were to try to switch my character to the new version he would no longer qualify for some of his feats (Improved Vital Strike) because he would no longer have a straight BAB. If possible, I would like to see the 3.5 Living Monolith as a separate option. It is the main reason I paid for that data package and was disappointed to find that it wasn't included.
 
From the FAQ:

The Living Monolith prestige class, originally published in Osirion, Land of Pharoahs, has been updated in People of the Sands. If you want to use the old version, go to the "Configure Hero Settings" option in the Configure menu, and scroll down a ways until you come to the House Rules section. Turn on "Use the old version of the Living Monolith" there. If you only have one of the books that included a version of the Living Monolith prestige class turned on in Hero Lab, but not both, there's no need to turn on the optional rule - only the version from the book you have turned on will be shown.
