List of Pledges

Customizing a Plege is really fast and easy.
Okay there's still the problem a vow seems to be always one-sided, no matter whether the box is marked or not. Anyway...

I wonder whether there is a way to save a once created Pledge for future situations. May I use the Editor to build an archive of Pledges? Unfortunately there's no folder for Pledges.

I would appreciate any help. A detailed "How to do" would be fantastic, but an vague idea, a link to a similar intention, etc would be cool as well.

When we talked with White Wolf, the decision was to allow pledges to be fully constructed *without* the need to use the Editor. That way, users never needed to learn about the Editor in order to manage pledges. So there is currently no way to build a pledge within the Editor for re-use.

Is it a common practice for STs to develop pledges in advance for game-time use? White Wolf never mentioned it, and I've not encountered it myself. However, if it's something that multiple folks would find helpful, I can put this on the todo list and figure out how to add it.

... and that's really, really cool - so please don't change it.

But on the other side: I think wording of a pledge is very, very important. Why that? Cause "Rites of Spring" said so (CtL RoS p. 33). Therefore it might be important (depends on the setting) that there are traditional Pledges that are wellknown and ... safe(?). Hmm ... at least more safe than an improvised oath.

So, I think it would be cool to get the chance to have access to traditional Pledges. Something (nearly) everybody knows, something the ST puts on a list so everybody has a chance to join in.
