Link Detection and set future priority

It would be nice if you have buttons that also change the priority from the ignored / accepted link to never / avoid / prefer / auto-accept.

That way you could train RW for certain topics.'

EDIT: Just to clarify a bit more: I would think that those those buttons could appear during link detection as additional options. There might also be more places weere such buttons could be useful (during topic editing) for example.

+1 to this for sure. It would also be nice if it would ask if you wanted to change the setting or the link to matched word but this might create unintended issues.

I get lots of matches to words like aid or light because I have them listed in articles but I am hesitant to block them completely. Even having pop up with a preferred pattern so a quick "Return" keyboard press would make life easier. That way, the odd time I did want to link to "goblin" I could do so but it would still be much faster the rest of the time.

So basically in case you just have one link it should look like this:

(*) do not link
( ) Aid

So "avoid" setting works even when there is only a single link.
As this is surely not the best behaviour for all topics it would require another flag / setting like ""avoid & never default" :)

I would like it and use it once or twice.

But for what it's worth: set it to "never" , in the odd case you want to link to those spells you'll do it manually or reset the setting to normal until all topics are linked up. Might be fastest?
