Hello. No, it's not a Diamond question. :)

L5R's Promo system is becoming more and more complex. They have cards
in the Imperial Assembly, magazines, special events like the Diamond
Forum, pre-release tournaments, tournament packs... Plus, the old
pre-gold promos are also a jumbled mess, with mon-back strongholds,
IA, etc.

Could you tell me if the contact you've been having with AEG includes
a decent and up-to-date promo list? I know that for Tetsu-sama it was
a pain for a long time to find the goddamned cards, I think some old
ones were still missing from 4.0 (didn't check 5.0 yet)

Basically, I need to know just HOW complete a source for
hard-to-track cards will CV be. Can I rely on the list, or will I
have to go drudging through individual collector sites? If it's not
very reliable yet, please put pressure on AEG to release this info to
you, since they won't do it on their site.

Thank you

Abilio

AEG does not have the old WotC data, for the most part. It might be worth
contacting Zen Faulkes and see if he would be willing to come in on the
project, but he is about the best source of information on obscure cards :)

I have been given only spotty data, hopefully Rob has better luck getting such
data from AEG.

As far as that goes, I have all the IA promos with the exception of Designer
Wins. What exactly do you need?

Jeff Alexander informed me that he'd get us a list of the recent spoilers
for L5R. Note this is only the RECENT spoilers. Once I get them, I'll add
them to the files.

For older promos, most of the spoiler data is not possessed by AEG, so it's
not a matter of willingness on their part. That stuff has to be cobbled
together from individuals who either have the cards or have the spoiler
data. That's what Kuni Tetsu spent a lot of time doing thus far, but more
work is still required.

Once I get the Diamond update released, I'll post a format in which I can
readily utilize the spoiler material as submissions from users. If everyone
pitches in, we can hopefully fill in a lot of the holes pretty quickly.
[Note: I'm swamped right now, so if I drop the ball on this, bug me about
it next week.]

Thanks, Rob

Once I devise and post the format, you'll be able to get the info to me and
I'll get it included into the files.

Thanks, Rob
