L5R Hidden City

Since I know questions will be coming in abundance shortly, the status of
the L5R files for Hidden City is that I'm working on them next. We received
the spoiler data from AEG last week, but we needed to get V1.5 out the door
first. My current plan is to release the new Hidden City update as quickly
as possible, then I'll do a second update with all of the fixes and new
material submitted since the previous L5R release. But that may change once
I dive into the task, so I'll keep everyone advised as I know more.

Hi Rob,

I just take the chance to let you know I'm recovered of the computer
problems that have kept me from the 'net for more than a month and I'm
ready to help with the L5R files again. Unfortunately, I managed to
loose all my archived e-mail (amongst many other things) including all
the fixes and suggestions I made last time around about promos and such.
I sure hope you saved them!

Just added the Hidden City release, but noticed that I can't find any hidden
city cards. Is there something wrong with the file or am I doing something
wrong?

After downloading new files, you always have to re-load them. Otherwise,
you're still using the old files. :-)

You do not need to exit Card Vault. Simply go to the File menu, select
Switch Game System, and select the same game again. CV will see the new
files and compile/load them.

Maybe I made a mistake on my side, but it seems that when I filter
for Diamond Edition in the tournament field that the Hidden City
cards don't show other than the Voice of the Emperor. They do show
up if you take the diamond screen off. If i'm making a mistake steer
me in the right direction, but I think there might be a sall flaw in
the data file.

Though, many thanks for getting the new files ASAP. Nice to have
them all so soon after the release of the set. Thumbs up for that!

None of the hidden city cards have the diamond bug trait. I modified my copy of the dat file to correct that. I can email the correction to individuals or you can wait for the next official update for that filter to work.
