Kickstarter Materials

Will you young'uns stop talking about how old you are? I'm starting to feel ancient. I had started my game store by 1980 and had been playing D&D for six years by then.

Sadly no, I hope to have news later today or Monday. I'm waiting to hear back from a dev in regards to where everything sits and when we can expect to have Razor Coast out. Splitting our limited resources between trying to get bugs repaired, the content, and adding the API issue on top of that has us spread pretty thin.

Thanks, BJ. Even an update to let us know that there's no news gives us confirmation that it's being worked on. It seems silly to want that, I know, but I still do :).

I understand! I wasn't purposely withholding an update. I went to Gary Con and very shortly after my return, my first grandchild was born, so I finally had to take some of that stockpiled vacation I never use and turn it into half days at work. :)

"adding the API issue on top of that has us spread pretty thin" ?

The last communication that we had was that you were just waiting for Paizo.

We are still waiting on Paizo, but as I mentioned in the other thread, we have no idea when they will get to it due to their own understandably busy schedule. So, we've been trying to create a workaround for the issue since we and our customers would really like to put this behind us. :)

At the moment, our devs are working to repair a few issues that are plaguing users such as a bug that breaks something when you try to change the game system and an issue that people who haven’t logged in in several years are having that prevents them from using the program entirely. They are also trying to get a workaround in place for the API issue.

I'd like to nominate this for the understatement of the 2010-2019 decade....

Hey, now - hope springs eternal! I mean, I'm not holding my breath, but I'll be checking back in just like I've done since the Kickstarter. I still believe, BJ!

Thanks, Maidhc, I do too!

No firm news on a date for Razor Coast just yet but we do have a new Realm Works dev starting Monday so hopefully the extra hands will speed things along on all fronts. :)

It's not final yet, but it's possible the Pirates Guide will release to KS backers along with Razor Coast in the near future.

That would make me a happy kickstarter supporter. The inclusion of the Pirates Guide to Freeport is what convinced me to support the KS in the first place. Be great if LWD can get that out despite the feet dragging by Paizo. I don't play Pathfinder so have no interest in Paizo products anyway.

So... This was from March 6th. Again, this is not Paizo stuff, doesn't rely on their API, and since other KS stuff has been released it's obvious that there are no technology-related roadblocks.

This promised material, 5+ years in the making, would go a LONG way for me personally to alleviate my frustration with the delays.

@Rone, can you please share some good news about Razor Coast with me?
