Jan 28-29 Web Site Problems

this i think, is what is leading to my problems with the updater. Which sucks cause my trietary license cannot be used at this point because it says it needs to update so I can access 3.0 of the D20 system

This should now be resolved - our web host managed to break our web site (twice) and redirect it to some other page. Thanks for letting us know, guys.

And now it's back to not working again. :(

Sorry about the downtime, guys - our web host apparently cannot stop breaking the site in different ways. I've submitted a support ticket, so we're now waiting for them to resolve the problem. :(

Status update - wolflair.com and forums.wolflair.com seem to be working, but armybuilder.com and hlkitwiki.wolflair.com are not. Also, we can't access our wolflair.com email for some reason.

I'm in touch with our web host to try and resolve the issue. In the meantime, you can contact us via these forums, and we've provided a temporary download link for Army Builder here:

http://www.wolflair.com/download/ab/ab31c.exe

Sorry for the inconvenience. :(

Website still down ... but we do have cPanel on Apache

Looks like the website (and update service) are still having issues. Going to www.wolflair.com just shows a message telling me that cPanel is installed on the Apache webserver.

Obviously there are still issues ... any idea when it will all be fixed. I cannot download updates for Hero lab right now and I assume that it is related to this problem ?

As of sometime this morning, our web host seems to have finally pulled their heads out of a dark place. All appears to be working again. This includes the website, forums, kit wiki, and email. All downloads should be operational again as well.

Thanks for you patience with this. It's been a very frustrating past 72+ hours dealing with these guys....

Might take sometime for the DNS records to propagate throughout the net. Same thing happened for my store. The ISP messed up the DNS records and some could access our site others got a redirect. Very annoying.

The website got stuffed up again last night and was down for another 6 hours. They say it's fixed - yet again - so we shall see. Based on the fact that they've declared it fixed multiple times now, my confidence level is extremely low, but my fingers are crossed.

Stuff now seems to be fixed and stable (cross fingers). A few people have emailed us about not being able to access www.wolflair.com still - is anyone here still having problems?

If you are still having problems as of today (Monday), please post in this thread. Please include the results of a traceroute - you can perform a traceroute as follows:

* In Windows, select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt. This will open a console window.

* Enter "tracert www.wolflair.com" (without the quotes) and hit enter.

* Once the trace finishes, copy the results and paste them into a post here.

This will help us troubleshoot the problem and restore your access to the web site. Thanks!

Looks like there might be related issues. I wanted to reinstall Hero Lab on my laptop (trying the Win7 Beta) and I'm not able to access http://www.lonewolfdevel.com/ to access my license. Also, the installed program itself cannot find any updates or the like. I'm not having any problems with the main wolflair.com page, but can't seem to access the license website.

I had the same problem with bravenet for my website. You can't blame the hosting service. They can't dictate what kinds of advertising are included, but they can work things out by blocking certain types of advertising. Once my old forum led to yellowbook.com's add directory page. I had bravenet disable Ad redirects for all pages on their servers by telling them that such ad's were against the end user rights.
