Issue with Combat Trained Tiger having no race

So I'm building a character for a game I'm in later today, and decided to purchase a combat trained tiger. I spent the $19 on the correct add-on so I could get the Companion Animal Archive. This let me buy the tiger.

But.. when I switch to the tiger in the dashboard, it seems broken.

Next to Race is says "No Race". All of its ability scores are straight 10s. When I try to choose a class (or a template actually), it shows me the regular player classes.

Am I doing something wrong? I've downloaded all of the newest downloads and am up to date. I've even gotten rid of the tiger and purchased it again after a fresh load of the portfolio. Same deal.

Anyone got an idea on this?
 
Well I just tried creating a new character with all my content unlocked (everything from Paizo). This seemed to work fine and without a hitch.

After that I made a new portfolio and unselected all but Core and the Animal Archive companion stuff. This gave me the same result as you had. It seems the combat trained tiger might be reliant on some other pack. You might want to use the bug report section and ask for help through that or get clarification. (currently looking through my material what makes it work).

Update: After checking it out it seems it is reliant on the bestiary 1 (there might be other packs but this is the first one I tried after looking in the editor) for it's values and the race type.
Looking at the store page this currently isn't mentioned as a requirement for the package that contains the animal archive. This might need to be adjusted I recommend still making a bug report to inform them about this

If you were using a physical/pdf copy of Animal Archive, and purchased an animal from that book, would you need to own any other books in order to actually make use of that animal in combat?

Hero Lab handles things the same way - the prices come from one book, the stats come from another book, if that's the way Paizo set up the books in question.
 
I remember a similar issue with a mount which had no race when I added it to my character's portfolio.

In short:
You need the source "Bestiary" (purchased and) activated in your portfolio.
I think, the tiger stats are taken from that source.
