Interested in Hero Lab

I've been researching Hero Lab for Pathfinder and was a bit confused by all the packages that can be downloaded. Can a moderator or friendly board member please point me to the most efficient (see: cost) to make sure I get all the first party Pathfinder material and what that total cost would be (American)?

Much appreciated!

Hero Lab with all the possible Pathfinder add-ons isn't cheap. But neither is buying every possible hard and soft cover book published.

So I always recommend approaching Hero Lab in the same manner as you would books, start with identifying what you need to have, then identify what you want to have, the rest being nice to have.

Once done, you can manage your purchases over time, say one per pay or one per month or something to that effect. thus you defer the costs over a great period of time, negating to some degree the pain of so much material. PF has been around a while now, and has had time to accumulate a library of material.

But with out doubt, HL has been worth every penny I have spent.

One other tip, since investing in HL I stopped buying the physical media, and now I buy the PDF and the HL data package for about the same cost as a hard/soft cover published book.

I sincerely appreciate all the feedback. A wonderful lady named Liz Theis was kind enough to answer all my question via facebook.

Liz is one of the Lone Wolf staff (and she's just full of awesome) - no surprise that she was able to help out (and no doubt very thoroughly, too).
