I don't really see the need for AB files for Inquisitor, since it only uses
a handfull of figures on each side. In addition, character creation in it
is very easy (albeit a bit unbalanced...)

i'd love AB files for the ready reckoning rules for inquisitor since they provide away to make balanced people.

Except the Ready Reckoning rules aren't balanced. Because of the random
stat generation and the like, they are merely guidelines. Even the book
says this!

And to prove my point, I quote...

"As promised in the Creating Characters section, here is a simple system for
tallying the 'power' of a character by means of a slightly slapdash points
system. Of course, with near-infinite varieties of abilities, weapons, and
characteristics, this nominal points value should ONLY BE USED AS A ROUGH
GUIDE, RATHER THAN HARD AND FAST RULES."

Actually IMHO the Inquisitor rules are not written well and many areas
definately have the "unfinished, but here is what you get" look. A better
system and role-play alternative would have been a blend of Rogur Trader and
WHFRP.

My two cents anyway...

Darren

Um... You do know that Inquisitor is Skirmish miniatures, and not role
playing, don't you...

As for AB files, yes they are being done, by a friend of mine. Daniel Bond, he hopes to have them done sometime in the next week or so.

Hmmm.. after reading the articles about it in WD#257 I got the idea that
while it is a skirmish game that they added RPG elements into it. I belive
they use the term "narrative style of gaming".
In fact in the article "What is Inquistor", under the heading "So its a
Roleplay game then?" their response is "yes and no", as there are a lot of
roleplaying elements in it.
It looks like it could be an interesting system but I still have quite a
bit of reading to do...
