Increasing Ability Scores?

I know I found a way to do this before, but now I'm having issues. I'm in a 2e game with custom races from the GM, some of which get a +4 to their stats instead of a +2.

Ability Boosts (even those done in Adjustments) don't seem to stack, is there a way I can get the proper numbers through HL?

You can do this with an adjustment under Permanent Adjustments.
