If I bought the D20 version can I import...

Can I import creatures from there to the Pathfinder version??

I know I can not directly copy them over... and not expecting to but can I open the D20 editor and look at the creature there and then pretty much copy it in to the Pathfinder editor (Manually)?

Yes, you can copy over the information manually. But the creatures from the PF beastiary are already in HL. If you wanted to create a new monster you would need to go to the editor and input the information manually.

You can also do what you're asking by just downloading the d20 files and running them in demo mode (not that I don't want you to buy the d20 files, too, but you don't need it for what you're suggesting).

You can have two copies of Hero Lab open - have the d20 editor open in one, and the Pathfinder editor open in the other. That should hopefully help with the process of converting something from d20 to Pathfinder, since the editors for the two are similar (they used to be identical, but they've diverged since Pathfinder was created).
