I'm having trouble installing the Army Builder programme. When I try to open up the file I get the following error message:

Could not initialize installation. File size expected=3238397, size returned=500361

What do I need to do to complete the installation? Thanks

That sounds like a problem that's been reported here before - the download probably stopped before it downloaded the whole file - try downloading it again.

am glad you remembered that one mgehl, could remember it being reported but not what the fix was lol

my computer crashed and I need to replace all applications. Of course, I need AB since I'm doing a tourney next week.

HI all
I 'm having the same problem ref: initialize installation, File size expected= 3238397
size returned 251768, parameter is incorrect. Tried to reinstall and even deleted old files but still no luck....any suggestions.

As Mghel said above - the d/load sounds like it went screwy so try downloading the file again

I've exactly the same message and have tried all sorts of ways of downloading the file.
I've tried switching off internet security, pop-up blockers and the like, but to no avail.

Sent Lone Wolf an email asking for assistance.
When I get a reply I'll post it here.

I've managed to install Army Builder.

Turn off User Account Control. It helps prevent making unauthorized changes to your computer. Obviously somewhere between running/saving the installation wizard and "allowing" the download the computer says "No".

Hope this helped.
