Humans not betting a second Edge

Is there a check box somewhere that gives human characters their bonus Edge, because I can't seem to find a way of giving them one without firing up a validation report?
 
A second edge? Humans are the only standard race that gets an edge in the first place. Non-Humans have to use their Hindrances to start with an edge. By default, characters start with zero edges, unless they are Human, in which case they have one.

This is easy to house rule, though. But it is by no means the default case.
