How to get pdfs from HLO for Pathfinder 2nd Ed

Hello all. Thanks for having me in this forum. I have been trying to save my HLO 2nd Ed characters to pdf, and have had no success. I've read other threads on here, but they seem to be for HLClassic, not Online, and the directions they give aren't visible in my program. When I try to save as a pdf, HLO tells me I need to get the update for pdfs. When I load the update, I try to complete the installation, but the program tells me that "there are other copies of this program running" (there aren't) and it won't complete the install. Can somebody help me out with this? Thanks in advance!

Yes, the program running is HERO LAB. Start the install, close Hero Lab, complete the install. This is a known issue with HL Classic, maybe the same thing is happening with HLO.

Hello all. Thanks for having me in this forum. I have been trying to save my HLO 2nd Ed characters to pdf, and have had no success.
  1. Open your character.
  2. Click/tap the Gear icon in the upper right of the Hero Lab Online page.
  3. Pick Print.
  4. Check whichever parts of the character you want, then hit Print.
  5. Wait for it to say your files are ready.
  6. Pick Show Files.
  7. Download the PDF file(s).

In Hero Lab Online, click the icon at the top right of the page that looks like a gear, and choose "Print" from the menu that pops up. That will generate pdfs for you. If that generates a weird error message, then please contact support@wolflair.com. I just tested printing one of my own PF2 characters, and didn't run into any trouble.
