How to find lost file

I am getting this error message
The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors.

The following errors occurred:

Thing 'anArgus' - Bootstrap thing 'rauScdrgAB' does not exist

I cannot find the file AnArgus.
Is there an easy way to find an inbeded file in the editor?

Thing 'anArgus' - Bootstrap thing 'rauScdrgAB' does not exist

anArgus is the "Thing" not the file name. So you need to use a tool that can search text files. Then search for anArgus in your programdata\herolab\data\pathfinder folder.

I use TextPad but I am pretty sure notepad++ can do it also. Plus lots of other text search tools for free can be found using google.

try using KrojamSoft FilesSearch program. it worked for me. found my lost files
