How do you buy off Level Adjustments

Hi,

I'm creating a character who's race has a level adjustment of 1, and I'm trying to figure out how to get the Hero Lab tool to let me buy off that LA at the level I'm allowed to buy it off. Has anyone done this and can help me out?

I am using the 3.5 d20 OGL for my 3.5 campaign.

Only thing I know with LA buyoff was an optional form from Unearthed Arcana for 3rd Edition.

There is a Level Adjustment adjustment in the community set you can use to change your LA. You will still need to manually enter the paid cost in your journal entry however. To use this adjustment, you will need to check "Toby's Custom Stuff" in your Hero Configuration window under User Content.
