How Do I Fix Missing Thing Orphaning Error

lortondm

I created a water breathing adjustment that I could bring up on the Adjust tab in the Editor. I called it pWtrBr. But as I was playing with adjustments I discovered ShadowChemosh's adjustment thing that lets you add a custom spell selection, which serves my purpose well enough. I thought I deleted the pWtrBr from the Editor. But apparently there's still some vestige of it in the program.

I'm getting this error when I load a portfolio:

Pick 'pWtrBr' has been orphaned due to missing thing in batch '1079'

How can I fix that error? Thanks.

Try "dirtying" the portfolio by adding a skill rank and taking it away again, and then resave. Next time you load the portfolio, the error shouldn't appear.

Thanks. That worked. I'm going to start thinking of the "dirtying" concept as the equivalent of rebooting your computer when there's an error.
