How Do I Create A Template?

I'm inputting the Breaking of Forstor Nagar (Rite Publishing) into my copy of Hero Lab for Pathfinder. I'm having trouble creating the Hungering Creature template and haven't quite nailed down how to make a Hunger Devil from whole cloth.

When I search about template creation, frequently the response is "not that hard". Could someone point me toward the tutorial for making a brand new template? I'm sticking on the special abilities (bonuses to speed, Wisdom bonus to Will save instead of Charisma).

I don't know that there are template specific tutorials, but there are example scripts you can pull from other things. For example, the Travel Domain modifies the hero's base speed, so you could copy that and copy its script over to your template. For the using Charisma for your will save, copy and check out the Bloodline Arcana: Aboleth class ability.
