House rule Mod or Customization

Hi,

I've been playing with HL for a bit now since I got and I'd like to add a Customization or Houserule: A "Night's Rest" heals Character Level + Con Bonus (this is a houserule we use).

I heard you can customize a lot in HL. Can someone please point me to how this can be accomplished?
