Holy Vindicator - Vindicator's Shield

I can't seem to choose what kind of bonus the shield is on the Holy Vindicator tab in Hero Lab, in the drop down menu for the Vindicator's Shield where you should be able to choose Profane or Holy, but there's nothing there except "Nothing to select!". Also, when I apply the shield on the "In-Play" tab nothing is added to my character.

Anyone have a clue?
 
Do you already have a profane or holy bonus being applied to the character? if so the 2 wont stack, and it will take the highest one. Not sure if thats the problem, but i would start there.
 
What spellcasting class did you use to qualify for the level 1 divine spells prereq? Does that channel positive or negative energy?
 
Try changing the Cleric's positive/negative selection - the holy vindicator's sacred/profane should be tied to that.

If you're asking for help, please don't just throw out a minimal amount of information and expect everyone else to understand what you mean - more description of the situation means it's easier to replicate the problem and figure out where the error is.
 
ok you dont get to select holy/profane in that box. You get to select which shield the bonus applies to. you need to purchase (but not necessarily equip a shield) then select that shield. The type of bonus is set by your channel ability.
 
I apologize for lack of info, getting an attitude won't help though. I didn't realize what info I needed to include until just now from Agyess' post. On my level 5 Paladin/ 1 Holy Vindicator I have a Darkwood Tower Shield that I'm not getting the option to add Vindicator's Shield. I've found that adding another type of shield, magical or non, will let me add the ability, but not any type of tower shield. I can't find in the ability's description that would keep me from adding it to a tower shield.
 
Okay, I've gotten it fixed to allow tower shields for the next update. Thanks for reporting that issue.
