hmmm help?!?!?

a couple of issues that have been discovered in our group.

1) changing values of power costs, without having to build a new power.

2) buying the progression feat, on Create Object, and similar powers, should increment the size of the object, etc...etc...etc...

3) powers from Ultimate Power having the flaw permanent, how do you add that without having to add permanent, another flaw, and then an extra to counter one of the flaws.

4) thank you for all your help

On 3: Permanent is a Flaw for Continuous Duration Powers, so if a Power's default Duration is Sustained, you have to apply the Duration Extra before you can apply the Permanent Flaw. That's the way M&M is supposed to work.

charlieluce, yes normally you'd be correct. however, i have found that there are some powers that allow you to take permanent without it being made continuous, like growth or density.

The easiest way to do this is to add the "Custom Extra" (to increase the
power's cost per rank) or the "Custom Flaw" (to decrease the cost per rank).

Looks like I missed Progression for Create Object. I'll get that fixed,
thanks.

Permanent is a flaw that can only be applied to Continuous powers. If
the power isn't Continuous (for example, if it's Sustained) you need to
extend its duration to Continuous first before you can make it
Permanent. Does that make sense?

Hope this helps,

maybe that is a step that green ronin missed when they applied permanent to powers...but you are correct. permanent can only be applied to continuous powers. thank you for your assistance.
