Hightened Continual Flame

Just recently played a game with a character that was able to cast level 4 heightened continual flame (after I bought the Ruby Dust) on my sword or my shield.

Question is I see there is ways to add attributes to items but I don't see the continual flame as one of them. Is that not something that Hero Labs does and would just need to mark it under the personal tab, or am I looking in the wrong place?

Its not a standard Item Power so no its not listed. You can make this in the editor if you wish and it would require no scripting actually. So its a great place to get your feat wet with the editor. :)

Maybe I am missing something but are you talking about the "wrench and hammer" icon on the item itself or is there another editor that I have yet to find or use yet? I tried the button I mentioned and I didn't see any where that I could make this change.

I am talking about the HL editor. The wrench is just to edit a item. The editor allows you to create whole new feats, traits, spells, classes, archetypes, races...... :D

Tools->Launch Editor...

Check out FAQ#2 as it goes over help for the Editor. If you want watch the first video which shows how to start the editor and create a new .user file.

After that you will want to go to the "Equipment->Item Power" tab (I am not near HL but I think that is right). Create a new item called "Continual Flame" and add some text. Their is a button to associate to the types of weapons if you care to restrict it. Give it a Unique ID like ipContFlam and then save it. Finally do a "Test Now!".
