High Elf Heroes armed with Lances but no mount

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but AB allows a HE Hero to select a lance without equipping a mount without giving an invalid weapon combo error. In addition, when the chariot mount option is checked, you can still give him a lance as well without the error.

Not sure if this is a techincal violation of the WFB rules, as I know you only gain the +2 S bonus for a lance when charging on a mount. Don't know if there is any true equipment restrictions on lances other than the obvious one presented by their rules.
