Hiding weapon properties in the custom magic weapon UI

A couple of times I've made custom weapons in the editor which had unique weapon properties bootstrapped to them. They work fine, but the properties show up in the custom magic weapon interface.

Is there some way I can hide them there? They shouldn't really be selectable for other weapons.
