Hide Races

I am working on a set of races specific to a game world. In it, even humans have additional traits. I built the new versions of the races, but how can I hide the originals so they do not pop up in the race list, only the new versions show?

Thanks again

After you have named your setting with a source name, use the Precludes ab in the editor and use that source.

Let's say that your campaign is called "Fun Game". But you do not want to use the normal Human race design. In this case you have the "FunGame" created as a source either in the same user file or in a 1st file.

Go to Preclude in the editor.
Create a new (blank)
In the Thing Unique Id it would be racHuman (or whatever race you don't want).
In the Source Id it would be FunGame
Save it.
You are done. You can click on the Test box in the upper left.

After you do at least one with a given source ID you can duplicate it and it will give you a new blank that already has the source filled in and ??? for the unique id. This is an easy way to create more precludes for the same source. Just fill in the new unique id and save it. Keep duplicating as you need new preclusions.
