HeroLab Will Not Open On iPad

**EDIT** It required an IOS update, a Hero Lab update in the app store, and a reactivation of my license, but I got it to work correctly after an hour or more of trying...

I was linking up Dropbox to my Herolab on my iPad and it froze.

Now it will only bring up the start up screen, then it flashes and goes back to the iPad desktop screen with my apps. It will show an open screen of Herolab when I double click my home button, however, it is still frozen.

I have restarted the iPad several times.

I do not want to delete the app because it says I will lose my data and I have several characters on there that I cannot lose.

Any help?
