Hero Labs Journal Notes truncating

In both Pathfinder and Call of Cthulhu if I write a long enough note... Eventually, it will get to the point where when I save the file the notes get truncated. So, if I'm not watching I lose lots of effort in taking notes.

Is there a way to fix this or extend the note space. Or at least just stop me from typing further instead of losing data.
