Hero Labs Error

So I have a natural Werebear in my party. We're using the variant rules, and he has 16 CON in human form, and 21 in his other forms. However, Hero Labs calculates his Wounds as 36/46. In human form, his 16 CON should translate to 32 Wounds, and in his other forms, it should be 42. Somehow he's getting a bonus 4 wound points, and I'm not sure why.

Also, he has a feat for improved natural attack, and Hero Labs throws an error out when he's in human form.

The final thing is that according to what I'm reading (which could be wrong) in his hybrid form his weapon should get bigger with him? It isn't changing size, and he's taking size penalties in his hybrid form.

I'd appreciate any feedback on this, thanks!

I would report something like this using the Bug Reporting tool. Even if not 100% sure as individual bugs get lost in posts.

The feat requires a Natural Attack and when in human form he does not meet the requirement. Actually by Pathfinder rules RAW you can't take the feat. Here is Jason's post regarding Eldritch Claws and not having a permanent claw attack.

Of course you can rule different in your home games but HL is showing the correct warning message. You could if you want use the HL Editor to make a new version of the feat that does not throw this warning message for Lycanthrops if you wish. Or a new version that has no error checking at all. Both ways would stop the message.

The final thing is that according to what I'm reading (which could be wrong) in his hybrid form his weapon should get bigger with him? It isn't changing size, and he's taking size penalties in his hybrid form.
Nothing in the text for lycanthrops change shape says that equipment changes size. So their for it wouldn't.

Again its your game and can do as you please. So if you would like that to happen their is an Adjustment in HL that changes equipment sizes for you. So then after you change shape you can turn on the adjustment to increase your weapon sizes.

You could also make a new adjustment using the editor copied from the Enlarge Person spell adjustment to change the size of all your equipment in one click. Just another idea if you want to get your hands wet with the editor.

When I look at this: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/humanoids/lycanthrope/werebear I notice that his weapon does more damage in hybrid form. Unless, that is, all bestiary werebears are running around with two different sized weapons of the same type, both masterwork?

So just so know I don't work for Lone Wolf. If you think it's a bug my advice is to put in a bug report.

My other advice is to post to the Rules forums over on tho Paizo site to see about getting a FAQ for the question.

Regarding the wounds - does the character have Toughness? Using wounds and vigor, that feat changes to +1 wound per HD.

Actually, the Change Shape ability states it works as a Polymorph spell, and reading the rules for the Polymorph sub-school it does indicate that items that don't meld with the new form grow(or shrink) to match the new size.

Edited to include the link.

Damn! Nice catch. That takes a bit to back track to the rule. I read the lycanthrope change shape and finally say it says to see Change Shape universal monster rule. Then it lists "polymorph" in the stat block. So had to reference the CORE book to get to polymorph and finally I see it has one important sentence "If your new form does not cause your equipment to meld into your form, the equipment resizes to match your new size." is found.

No wonder someone quickly inputting these rules into HL could miss this....
