Hero Lab keeps wanting to update

I open Hero Lab, and it won't let me open a rule system until I update Hero Lab. So I update it, it says its going to install and restart, which it does. I have no problems making a character. So I finish and close the program. Then later, I go to open it up and it does the same thing. Its like the update isn't staying for some reason and it keeps wanting me to update it.

I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm running the latest version of Windows 10. I also have a OSX desktop and that has no problems, its just my laptop that seems to be having a problem.
 
It almost seems like it thinks you have two installations of the program. Did you do anything with the default install location?
 
That was an easy fix. I have a very small hard drive so I installed it on a SD card and somewhere along the way I must have installed it on the C: drive too.
