Hero Lab Android Character viewer

If you missed my other message, I'm having an issue where when I have no internet connection, clicking on various things in the character sheet (clicking on various tabs or trying to switch between characters in a portfolio) will close the character sheet viewer and open either the most recent app, or the home screen if there are no recent apps.

I've cleared the app's cache and data and uninstalled and reinstalled, and the issues persist.

Device: Google Nexus 9 (stock ROM with the most current updates)
It is NOT rooted
Android version: Android 7.0
