Help with new spell

in the Magic tab/spells I copied the spell Secure Shelter gave the new spell the same name gave it a new unique id changed the spell level to 3 went into the class tab zeroed it out then selected the to tags for hunter deleted the schools and sub schools
save the spell and compiled the spell it hero lab says I can use the spell but it does not show in any spell list. what have I done wrong.
 
Did you actually do a "Test Now" or just a compile? Just a compile doesn't load it into the current system.

Even "Test Now" isn't always sufficient. When I want to be absolutely sure, I make sure the record is saved, I make sure the file is saved, and I reload the game system.
