Help needed in editing files

hello

i am in the process of editing the catachan file, namely changing Sly
Marbo's proper position in the army to reflect the codex..
he isnt a HQ, but a choice which replaces one of the snipers in the elites
choice..

now, i have managed to add an option to the veteran snipers to add Sly
marbo, and to count towards the count of units in the "squad" of 1 to 3
snipers (i know they arent a squad but ws the best way to describe the
counting).

now, as u can have 1 to 3 snipers, and sly marbo counts as one of those 3,
at the moment i can only have it as such: sly marbo fixed at one, and the
lowest sniper count at 1.. now i want to be able to get the snipers at 0,
and only at 0 if sly marbo is added to the unit. and if not minimum of 1
sniper.
i have the maximum working fine, i.e. no sly marbo = 3, sly marbo added = 2
+ sly marbo.

any help is appreciated

Impossible in 1.4d. Give Marbo 'forc' and 'umax:1m' external attributes,
and 'unhide' him. Make him an Elites choice.

Hmm... you might need to give the Sniper unit the 'mgnt' local attribute
as well.

What if you included sly as a sniper upgrade that one of the snipers could
choose (changes stats, weapons, and cost), would that be possible?

Hmm. It would be possible, but I can't see any reason for doing that
over the way I just detailed (which will be in the next version of the
files).
