SR 5th ed. Help fixing the 'Linguist' quality?

I noticed that the 'Linguist' quality isn't working properly. I got decimal places in my karma after applying the quality. After I looked at the script that calculates the karma expenses I noticed that the script instead of giving 2-for-1 skills, it halves the karma/BP cost of the skill. That causes it to instead of jumping from 1 to 3 for the karma cost of the first improvment, to first go to 2, for 0.5*Karmacost for first improvment and then to rating 3 for 0.5*Karmacost for second improvment.

Anyone knows how to rewrite the script to make it work properly? Or is it even possible without the devs changing something in the source code? After looking in the forums it seems that the problem is known to the devs for some time.

Thanks in advance.

I reported this bug months ago (like 5 months ago i think).

Matthias has been too busy to do anything about it.

Perhaps you could submit a bug report and that might get him to pay attention.

Or, if you fix it let me know!

thanks
