Hihi ..

I'm working on extending the .HACK file into distortion, but was
wondering if anyone else knew if Jeremy was doing it or not? His
site's unupdated, his mail bounced back to me (I think) and I don't
want to duplicate his work.

This would bring it up to Distortion and all current cards out there.
(Including the Scrye promo card next week .. ooooh :) )

So.. anyone else doing this?

Jarrod

Actually, I was looking at doing a quick-and-dirty one tonight. :)
Not a full database, but just taking the card list page and creating
the skeleton of card number, name, and type for inventory purposes.

Have you checked with Jeremy about this at all? You can contact him
directly by going to the Help menu and selecting Contact Data File Author.

Thanks, Rob

I emailed him twice. The first one boucned about three weeks ago.. the
second one was sent shortly after the first one (two weeks ago?) and
hasn't been returned or answered.

It's not like I think he abandoned it.. but we are on the next set, and
a new set comes out May 13th. It's starting to make Card Vault
pointless. If he's working on one, neither his website or his email
suggest otherwise.

Hmmm. I fully understand the impression this gives Card Vault, since the
tool isn't much value without the data files. I'll try to get ahold of
Jeremy myself then and see what's up. I'll keep you posted on what I find out.

Thanks, Rob

I received confirmation from Jeremy that he's no longer going to be
updating the .HACK data files due to one or more disagreements with how
Decipher is handling the product. So there is no one currently working on
the .HACK files. :-(

If you have a desire to take over the data files for .HACK, please let me
know and I'll coordinate the process with you. If not, then I'll be
striving to get things sorted out for .HACK on this end, although that will
likely take a bit longer than would be ideal. We're pushing to get V1.5
finished up right now, not to mention data file updates for a few
additional game systems already in the queue.

Thanks, Rob
