M&M 3rd ed. GM Kit for HL?

Just wondering a simple thing; are you going to add a GM Kit to the Packages? The one for the Deluxe Heroes Handbook gives you pre-built packages for rolling a random Hero. are you going to (eventually, i understand) for HL? that would be helpful for some newbie players in my group.

I have asked this question myself and all I ever get told is to bugger off. I hope we get it eventually, it has been out for over a year now I think.

You just want to be able to generate the Quick Start Heroes?

How exactly would you expect that to work? Right now there's a huge list of prebuilt powers in HL with all of the Power Profile and Gadget Guide stuff, so odds are pretty good if you type in the name of a power or even a descriptive word it's going to filter the list down to something close to what you want for that power. Wolf Lair might be able to add in all of the powers and arrays in the QCG section of the Deluxe book and make them searchable by name in the same way, so adding powers to a random build could be quicker. I don't think the same could be done with the rest of the character, though, at least not without some major alterations to HeroLab at the basic level.

Incidentally, while it probably doesn't solve all of your problems, someone made portfolios for the first two rolls.

Unfortunately, at this time, we don't have the capability to support the random character creation from the GM's Kit in Hero Lab.
