global Find and Replace

I'm sorry if this has been asked before.

is there a way to globally search an entire realm and find/replace content?

I have a horrible habit of typing "teh" instead of "the". searching shows something like 45 individual articles having that misspelling. can I fix this in one go? if so, how?

Cheers,

J

Not that I know of, only CRTL + F for single topics. But RW has many hidden functions, so there might be ;-)

Hey Devs :)

Global Find/Replace would be really swell!

Here's another use case:

you have an article - Say "Saving Throws" that is a rules reference. There are a number of other articles that reference "Save Throw", "Saving Throws", "Saves". Because as you create articles, you do a better job standardizing your language.

So you want to go back and normalize all of your articles with "Save Throw", including renaming the reference article.

Being able to quickly find/replace the various permutations of "Save Throws" and selectively scan the entire realm and then re-scan for new links would be a huge time saver.

Cheers,

J.

There is a way to use the linking as a global find and replace. It's irritating as hell sometimes but it works. Involves setting a topic up and then linking everything to that topic and then renaming that topic.
