Hi all
I have just two short questions.
1. Can i create an encounter with only one monster?
When players are at lvl 1 a giant spider will be a challange and i dont wanna have moster just to fill up and dont use.

2. Can i add Young to a monster?
If i choose Troglodyte but want it Young, then can i do that and how?

Hi Grimmric,

Yes, you can create an encounter with just one monster.

For your second question, to add a template (like Young Creature) to a monster you can do that after importing it into the portfolio. In the class tab of the creature, click "Click here to add class levels or hit dice." This will open a new window where you can see all of the different templates and classes you can add to the creature. Once you've added a template to a creature, the CR will be adjusted to account for the change in difficulty.

I think i should clarify my first question a bit.
I can create an encounter with just one creature, but when i try to use Tactical console i cant use it. It just say that an encounter with just one creature isnt very satisfying.
But i guess i just have to use main window.

And on to question number two.

Once you import it into the portfolio with your PC group you'll be able to use the tactical console with it, as at that point there will be more than one creature in the encounter.
