I have a situation where I have a parent (a character composition group) attaching a child (a chariot - a special composition group) and I want to count the chariot selection against the total number of specials allowed. I tried the forc command but Armybuilder isn't including the child chariot in the validation steps. Is there another command to use?

As long as you *don't* use mgnt, a child unit should count against it's
own composition group (IIRC) are you sure the chariot is assigned the
correct group, and the parent doesn't have the local attribute mgnt?

The "forc" attribute only applies to validation attributes assigned to
child units. Regardless of attributes, all child units should behave
normally with respect to composition group assignments. Make sure that the
chariot unit is properly assigned to the Special composition group. If it
is, then it should appear as an entry in the Special group within the
compositon report. Also, be sure that the chariot unit is not being
re-classified as a different compositoin group, either via the "xcmp"
attribute or the present of "mgnt" on the parent unit.

Hope this helps,
Rob
