File Locations...

Since the recent update I was worried to see many of my .stock files were difficult to find (I thought at first they had been deleted) and have been able to find them in my Application Data file within my "All User" Document and Settings folder. This isn't a major problem, but it has caused a minor issue when searching for a particular file to edit or open in HeroLab.

I currently have a HeroLab folder in my ProgramFiles (this has the uninstall file) and a HeroLab folder within my Document & Settings "User" folder (that seems to me Portfolios and images). Now it seems the HeroLab folder within the "Application Data" folder (contains the "skins" and "data" files

Is there a way to minimize the need for these three separate folders?
Again, it's not a big deal, but makes it more confusing for me to find where a file is to edit (usually a .stock/.user) or where to create a file.

Select the Help menu in Hero Lab ... Help Topics ... View User Manual

The last link on that page is "Miscellaneous Details" - in that section, you'll find information about how to change the folder locations.

You can also easily access the file locations from within HeroLab, that's what I've been doing. I don't recall the menu, but there is a menu selection that takes you right to those folders, and you don't have to worry where they are folderwise on your machine.

Awesome! Thanks for the advice and help :)

Truly this program is amazing!
I've enjoyed it MUCH more than when I toyed around with RedBlade.
