Feral Combat Training + Flurry (claws)

Hello!

Done a search on Google and the forums themselves and can't seem to find the answer to my dilemma.

Short version: I can't get a stat-line for flurry of blows using the claws.

Weapon tab has:

Claw x2
Shuriken
Unarmed Strike.

Flurry only shows under Unarmed strike and Shuriken.

Effects like Magic Fang and the weapon focus obviously don't affect the unarmed strike, but would be relevant when using FCT to use the claws for the flurry attack.

I have a Catfolk Ninja/5 Monk/2 built in Hero Lab.

Relevant feats: Weapon Focus: Claw & Feral Combat Training: Claw

Am I missing something here or is there a limitation in the software? If so, any thoughts on how to circumvent it? As far as I can tell the rules allow what I'm attempting to do :)

Thanks!

As AndrewD2 says you should report it using the sticked thread at top of forum.

Until its fixed install the "Pathfinder Basic Pack" and then turn on "ShadowChemosh Adjustments". The go to "Adjust" tab and "other adjustments" and add "Weapon Flurry of Blows". Select "Claws" and the Flurry attack values will be displayed. :)

OK! So this character has finally made it to where she can take Feral Combat Training...and for some reason, I can't find where to 'Turn on ShadowChemosh Adjustments"! I might be blind...I've downloaded the basic pack, all that, but I can't seem to find a toggle to allow SC Adjustments anywhere (I looked under configure hero).

Any help would be appreciated. Or maybe this has been fixed in the main code somewhere?

Thanks!

If you downloaded/installed the Basic Pack make sure you restart HL. Then open your character and press "CTRL-K" and a new set of options will show up including ShadowChemosh Adjustments.

That is unless your getting an error on HL load in which case it fell into Safe Mode and won't load any addons. If so you can right click on the error message and paste it here. But would be really surprised if the Basic Pack is no loading as its designed to require no other licenses.

Thank you for the reply! No errors...I think I'm just not sure where to find the toggle for the ShadowChemosh options after pressing CTRL-K. Can't search there, either. I figured it would be under House Rules, but didn't see it there, or elsewhere I'm afraid. :(

Its in the first set of options under User Content. You did install the Basic Pack? Go to Tools->Manage Third Party Updates and make sure you see Basic Pack.

This is what you should see if you installed the Basic Pack:

Thank you so much for your continued support. I think I've discovered the issue, but not how to fix it.

Under User Content, the box is greyed out (no user sources defined). When I try to click on that box, it tells me that the setting can not be used because I do not have the appropriate data packages installed.

Under tools and Manage Third Party Updates I have the Ultimate Psionics Package and Pathfinder Basic Pack v3.13, 96 Files). I assume that is the Basic Pack we're trying to use?

Really sorry for being so much trouble. I'll continue to search for answers and I thank you again for your time and assistance!

Based on this info I am going to assume you are getting an ERROR message, a small window that says X issues, and that Hero Lab will now load in safe mode. In safe mode no user created content will load (ie no Basic Pack). :)

The reason I say this is that Ultimate Psionics Package is deprecated and was merged into the 3PP Pack. I assume the Basic Pack is running into issues with the outdated Ultimate Psionics.

Your best bet would be to delete BOTH the "Basic Pack" and "Ultimate Psionics" and then simply install the "3PP Pack" as that will give you all the stuff in the Basic Pack. Plus give you the latest and greatest Ultimate Psionics.

The last option is maybe you are not actually using Ultimate Psionics then delete it only and reinstall the Basic Pack. :)

Oh I thought I posted this....you fixed it! :) That was the exact problem. I removed the Psionics guide and I could use all of the ShadowChemosh adjustments :) Thank you so much for your help and work on the software! :D
