Favored Class Defaults

Is there any way to change the default selection for favored classes?

I find that 99% of the time I choose +1 hp over +1 skill point, but +1 skill point is the default.

No way I know of to do this and honestly first time I have seen this request. So at least your unique. :)

Yeah, I was hoping for a place I could add a mechanic or script that would change it when the level was added. Everything I can think of would change the bonus ever after the player changed it to something else.

I guess I will add a source mechanic that forces to +1 hp, then if I have a character I want to do differently, I can turn it off.

When I first saw this post a while back I almost jumped in and seconded the request because I also find the default behavior of the favored class irritating. However after thinking about it I could offer no better solution. Originally I was going to request when adding a new class to look at the previous class and take the previous classes option if it was applicable to the new class. Then I thought about the coding requirements and extra processing for such a minor improvement and decided not to suggest it. Plus often that wouldn't apply since many times people switch between levels. I decided the only time I find it really tedious is when making an NPC or starting with a high level PC and you add a lot of classes at once and need to switch them all. Once I thought about it I decided it probably wasn't worth the effort to change for the few times I was inconvenienced and in the end I would probably find any new behavior inconvenient at times too.

Actually, this has been asked before, and my plan is to have a pair of buttons on the class tab - "All HP" and "All SP".

As a player it is a minor inconvience.

As a DM where I am creating a large cast of NPCs, it is a huge annoyance especially when you are creating high level(level 10 and up) characters.
