Fate: Languages

Since there has been no response I'm guessing this isn't available.
Would it be possible to get it added at some point.
My suggestion would be if use languages is checked and no languages are selected, with in the campaign. then use all of them. Otherwise use only the ones selected within the campaign.

The source id is whatever you call your source for your game. But it seems FATE Core is a bit emaciated for the editor when it comes some stuff.

Right now the easiest way to add a user source would be if you had your own Language you wanted to add, you could give it your custom source and then it would be available for the precludes. Otherwise I'd create a mechanic and and just give it a source that you want ID like ShadowGame and call it "ShadowWalker's Game" and save and reload the system. Then you can use the ShadowGame (or whatever ID you use) for the source ID in the preclude.

Thanks. For some reason I was thinking I needed to put the source the language was originally entered in not my source. With 68 languages with was very time consuming. Seems to me doing it the way I suggested would be a lot faster. But it's working

But you'd have to modify each language with whether it is available or not using your way. That means modifying content you do not have access to. Unfortunately, right now precludes are the best way this can be done to hide the the others.

Maybe if they add a CampLang.? tag so that if they're found on a selected mechanic it will make only those languages available, but it would take a bit more work to adjust it.

Right now they have a mechanism for selecting what skills are available for a campaign. Something similar is what I am suggesting for languages. with one difference not selecting something means it uses all available languages.
