Fate Core: New Advancement?

Is there an example of doing a new Advancement type for Fate Core?

For the Tianxia dataset I'm working on, one of the possible advancements is to be considered a Master with one of your Kung Fu Forms. This would add a tag to the form (KungFu.Master or something like that)

Right now, the Form itself is a Stunt and The ability to add more stunts is already part of the Advance choices.

How can I add this ability to the Fate Core rules? :)

Similar Advancement Problem

Hi again TC,

You're having advancement problems, too, huh? My problem isn't identical to yours but it is similar.

Our group had reached a "Minor Milestone" a few sessions back. I decided to purchase a new Stunt - "Heavy Hitter" - with one Refresh Point. This past weekend we earned a "Significant Milestone". I decided to pick up a new skill: Rapport +1.

IT WILL NOT WORK.

I tried from the Advances tab. I tried it both locked and unlocked. Everything I could think of.

STILL NOTHING.

I know its not your problem but both problems involve Advancements in some fashion.

Any ideas??

TC,

Just thought of something. I read somewhere - Fate Core System, Fate System Toolkit, or Tianxia - Blood, Silk & Jade - that a Form should be added as an ASPECT and Techniques as STUNTS.

Sound familiar?

Sure - no problem. How do I do do this? Does a portfolio need to be zipped? So far I've only sent pdf files via email to the GM.
