Extend Thing to allow bonus feat?

Illyahr

Well-known member
Trying to make a feat that is allowed as a bonus feat for a class using the Extend Thing function but it isn't recognizing the tags.

Tried "fFeat, fInclude, cHelpClass" and the reverse but neither are working. Am I doing something wrong?

On your custom class what "Tags" do you have setup on the "Bonus Feats Allowed" section? That is the tag you want to extend onto the feats to get them to be displayed.

In example the fighter class uses BonusFor.Fighter which is the tag then placed on to Feats.

Remember this is a dynamic tag allowing you to create your own custom ones. Just remember these have to be unique across all of d20 to not run into issues.

No I mean new feats that are bonus feats for certain classes that don't have a "BonusFor" tag. The only classes the BonusFor tag works for is Fighter, Monk, and Wizard. I made a feat that is a selectable bonus feat for Paladins using he Holy Warrior variant and can't figure how to tag it short of changing the class or variant itself

Yes, but what he's saying is you can create a custom BonusFor tag (from the feat tab). You'll have to add it to a new or existing feat, but after that you can use Extend thing to add the tag to any other feats you want.
