Exporting Portfolios to PC from iPads

New member
My husband and I are unable to open any files we export from our iPads. The files export with no file type extension. We can add the .por extension and it'll open on our PCs, but we get a lot of errors (although we're not sure if that's because of the file extension issue or if we added stuff to the iPad version of the character that doesn't exist on our PCs).

Is there a better way to do this?

Hi Krenolds,

Renaming the file to end in .por is the appropriate thing to do - there was a bug in our iPad app (now fixed) that was causing the file extension to be skipped when emailing a file.

If you're getting a lot of errors when you import on the PC, make sure you're using the latest version of the Pathfinder data files - if you have an older version of them on your PC, you may be getting errors because of that. If that's not the case, please email support@wolflair.com with the text of the errors you're getting. You should be able to right-click them and copy them into an email.

Hope this helps!
