Export file... how to know if it works.

I just made an export file. I need to know if I did it right. I had to turn it into a ZIP file, but have it loaded here.

It should be an edited version of the Shadow stat block, and with a pic I use it to make table tents for my characters.

The reason I ask is at first it said to point to the campaign folder and I pointed to it and then the HAMiii folder and it included every file in the Herolab folder. I couldn't make the file because it included PKG extensions files, and after removing all the files from that folder, the button to OK was grayed out.

I figured out the separate commands for exporting after that, using the drop down menu that pointed me to choose the HAMiii folder without choosing a campaign folder, and that is the file I have for all to look at. Did I do it right?
 
I have no access to HL at work so I couldn't look if I wanted too. A little patience I can look tonight when I get home. As I do so many .hl files I find it pretty easy. If I get time I can outline my process steps.
 
So simply put no this is not a valid .hl. Well unless your goal was to make a custom output file?

.hl file are used to make installer files of new game systems or addons like the community Packs. They can also be used to distribute custom output files like Ancient Ones custom character sheet. The latest is it can be used to make Encounter Library's.

With the above said what are you trying to make because the more I re-read your posts the more confused I am getting.
 
Custom Output was what I was going for. It should be a name and a pic, with some basic character information and a greenish border.

It is an edit of Shadow's stat block/character sheet. Did it work?

oh! :o

Sorry long week at work and I can confuse myself sometimes. I will double check it more tonight. It did have a custom output file in it but I didn't actually test using it. Sorry! I was thinking you had wanted .user files exported...
 
Did just get a chance to try this out and it does in fact work! So your new "tent" output option is displaying correctly. :)
