I'm getting a little annoyed with something. There has got to be an easier way to do this. I have all of my players in one portfolio. Now, I want to assign all 8 players the same experience. Is there a way to assign EXP to multiple characters at once rather than going to each character?

I just cut and paste the same value to each one. I had 7 players in my Age of Worms game and it was easy enough. I do think adding to all at once could be easier but it wasn't that bad. I added all the XP before I worried about leveling up so I could have the players come over one at a time.

I had journal entries for each one.

But as they were the same I now have a journal on one character and everyone else has the session they started on, plus a generic XP gained entry...

For campaigns where the characters have the same XP this is useful.

But as not every campaign has the same XP for characters I can see why they make you do it for every character.

It would be better I think to have a GM panel that allowed all characters in the portfolio to be managed as a whole.

i.e. experience, gold, journal entries, that sort of thing.

This is the only reference to this idea I can find in the forums. Has the status of this issue changed in the few years since? I use HL to run a campaign for some friends and it'd be super handy if I could simply populate the same XP awards in mass.

It be nice if HL would stop running script when I starting adding the numbers in for xp or currency until AFTER I press the Earn/Add button. Really why does it script when I try to type in something? I use two different systems one is a laptop and the other is my desktop and the laptop is slower which in turn relates to the script running in HL as far as wait time I can actually add the numbers in. Granted its only a second wait on my desktop and two second wait on my laptop (Six-core vs Dual-core), but this just seems unnecessary. Why does this occur?

P.S. Tested on clean booted systems so I know it isn't something else in the background.
