error report from new update

Did you get an error when you first loaded the system, it seems like its in "demo mode" which happens if there is an error with user files.
 
There's no need to report bugs here on the forum - just report them in the bug tracking system.

Oh, and for error messages like this, you don't need screenshots - you can right-click them and copy the text, and then paste them into your message.
 
I'm getting a similar error for one character in a portfolio . It happens when I access the character or their vehicles but not when I access the other character.

Attempt to access field 'mechTechBP' that does not exist for thing 'mechKaFin'
Location: 'eval' script for Thing 'resMTech' (Eval Script 'Calc trtKarPts') near line 22

I thought it may be because I added an edited item but I've removed it and still get the error. It's happened since the Chrome Flesh Update
 
pretty similar to what I am experiencing, sent my character folio to Mathias a week or so ago.

I think it is related to the Martial Arts qualities. I had the same thing, but when I deleted the Karate quality the problem disappeared.
 
It is martial arts related - it happens once you're paying karma for martial arts techniques. It'll be fixed in the next update.

The workaround is to go into the Develop menu and turn off "Enable Data File Debugging" - this is an error that normal users will not see - only those who have asked Hero Lab to notify them of all errors will see the message.
