Okay, so when I try to use the customized equipment, I add a few items, then when I rename them... they keep automatically changing order and I end up typing over one that already exists!

Anyone else have this issue?

When you enter the name for a piece of gear, it should not immediately move in the order. If you do anything that triggers an update of the list of gear (e.g. adding new gear or switching tabs), then the list is re-sorted. So you can add multiple items that will have the default name of "New Gear", then rename them all, and they will not move during the renaming process. However, if you add one, rename it, then add another, then rename it, the new gear will always be added with the name "New Gear".

How are you ending up typing over something that already exists? I'm confused. If you could walk me through what you're doing, I can understand what's wrong and then we can fix whatever problem you're running into.
 
Well, what you're saying *shouldn't* happen *is* happening :-). I add five pieces of 'New Gear', then go into the description of each and as I delete the generic description it reorders them! So, if I delete the whole thing the blank gear goes to the top, even if it was the third one on the list originally. Yet the cursor stays on the same line, so I ended up typing over another one if the order changed. Very odd. Should be worth noting I'm running Windows XP Pro in Parallels VM on an iMac.

Based on another post from you that mentions WoD, I tried this in WoD and didn't have any problems. I've just re-checked this in *all* the game systems and it seems it *is* happening in M&M. All the others appear to be fine. Sorry for the confusion, but I didn't know to check M&M, since this is the generic HL forum. I'll let Colen know so that he can fix this in the next update.
 
Oh cool - thanks for the confirmation! Yes it is in M&M, didn't know there would be different behaviours between the game systems.

I mentioned WoD as that's the next expansion I want to get, but probably won't until more of the core books are supported as well as, H:tV... not into Vampire :)
